Hi, I’m Mark Crosling, founder of Strategic Content, and here’s the drill.
All roads lead to your inbox.
As boring as that sounds, it’s a fact if you want to make money online.
Yes, social media is super cool and getting picked up in search is a dream, but at the end of the day, you need people on your email list who are your potential customers.
They can opt-in to your email list in a variety of ways such as articles, blogs, ads, podcasts, and webinars. These are the people that are into you, and they’re the ones most likely to buy your product or service.
But the game is far from over, even after making them aware, educating them on the benefits of your product, and finally making them an offer, they’re still potential customers.
Your job is to convert them into buyers.
Here’s what I do
I help you convert your potential customers into buyers. It’s as simple as that.
To get them over the line and purchase your product or service, we (that’s you and me) need to create a strategy that uses:
- persuasive sales pages,
- landing pages,
- and high converting email sequences.
I work out the strategy bit and write the compelling copy that leads to a conversion. Your part is to tell me everything you know about your potential customer and the benefits they’ll get by using your product or service.
What’s so good is you can rinse and repeat the process for your next launch. However, the cream is the higher conversions which mean you get more buyers.
Sounds good? Then let’s get started and contact me today.
Other things I do
There are two main areas and one side-hustle:
Content Marketing Strategies
I create digital and content marketing strategies that take your prospective customer from maybe not even knowing you, through to wanting to buy from you.
It’s a strategic process that starts with well purposed useful content benefiting your prospect. It can be in any format such as posts, articles, a podcast series, webinars, and videos.
It’s shared through social media, is found in search and eventually drives your prospective customer back to your website to take the desired action you want, like buying something. That’s a huge journey considering the billions of pages on the web.
The key is knowing and understanding your ideal customer. Being able to emphasize with them and see their worldview as though you’ve walked in their shoes. This is foundational for the innovative content marketing strategies I conceive.
Podcasting is audio content that utilizes the theatre of the mind. Importantly, a person’s imagination is more powerful than anything visual.
Hands down, the fastest most effective way to build an audience for your product or service, is by a targeted Podcast.
I know because of my recent project on Women’s Health, or more specifically the female hormonal cycle, gained a substantial international audience within a very short period.
A weekday podcast, it ranked in the Top 100 of “What’s Hot” for Health on iTunes in the US market for almost one year, before it was retired in March 2016 after 156 episodes.
Typical of a good content marketing exercise, the series was educational and informative.
It provided answers and insights into the female hormone cycle and gynecology issues starting with the period (premenstrual), menstruation, contraception, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s), pregnancy, and pre and post menopause.
I want to eat healthy food, the way nature intended it. That led me down a track of discovery into organic food and farming methods.
Eating organic food is a choice about health and knowing what you eat is 100% safe. It’s nature doing its job to produce the best.
Long story short, I’m developing a site called Eat Organic. It’s a long-term project that will come together over time.
